Centre for the Study and Prevention of Violence

The Centre for the Study and Prevention of Violence provides a database and publications listing available for viewing on-line. The reader can access materials that look at the issue of violence from a general perspective or as it relates to various groups of people. Groups of people include: the elderly, persons with a disability, LGTB persons, children, youth and heterosexuals. The centre also has what's called a "Blueprints Model Programs Overveiw." This provides a listing of various violence prevention models that have been developed by different organizations. They also have a large program called "Safe Communities- Safe Schools."
