Hiring: Volunteer Board Members 
 
Springtide Resources is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to ending gender-based violence through developing and delivering innovative and anti-oppressive education and training. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. Do you have? 
 
 An understanding of the issue of gender-based violence
 
 An understanding of anti-oppressive and feminist approaches to ending gender-based violence 
 
 An understanding of the intersections of gender-based violence with race, status, ability, age, class,  gender-identity, and sexual orientation 
 
 Previous board or committee experience 
 
 Strategic planning experience 
 
 Time and flexibility to commit 3-6 hours every month for a minimum of 2 years 
 
Yes? Then this may be an experience for you! 
 
Please note, we are currently hiring one Board Member and are looking for experience and expertise in LEGAL ISSUES and the NOT-FOR-PROFIT SECTOR, with a focus on violence, social justice, and anti-oppression.
