Anni Lin is a Senior Underwriter for Director and Officer's insurance at American International Group (AIG) in Toronto. She is a supporter of the non-profit community and feels very strongly about EWA's role in safeguarding women's rights.
Mariela Morales works as a Worker Adviser at the Ministry of Labour where she provides advice and representation to injured workers, represents clients at mediation/hearings and educates community organisations, MPP staff and injured workers groups.
Ellen Nichols works at Integra Foundation to raise funds to support programs for children and youth whose learning disabilities are accompanied by mental health issues. Ellen was raised in the southern USA and, as the child of civil rights activists, has maintained a lifelong dedication to social justice.
Marilda Tselepis is the Director of Employment and Skills Development and the staff liaison to the International Cooperation Committee at the YWCA of Greater Toronto. She has worked for 31 years in women’s organization and was the 2005 recipient of the Constance E. Hamilton Award on the Status of Women.
Carol Zavitz works for the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario. Her current focus within the union is on equity and women’s programs.
Vincenza (Enza) M. Ronaldi is the Manager of the Strategic Policy and Planning Branch for the Ministry of Health Promotion.
Carolyn Mak is a Social Worker at Toronto District School Board. A majority of her experiences have been working with the Chinese population and at risk youth in the Scarborough area. During her time working in education and community settings, she has worked with abused children and women, and continues to try to collaborate with others to establish and advocate for language and culturally appropriate services for these marginalized groups.
Hannah Parish has her Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Women's Studies from McGill University, and her MBA in Marketing and Non-Profit Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Karen Turner has worked in the social services and women’s sector since 1990 in a variety of roles. She is currently a Program Supervisor with the Ministry of Community and Social Services in the Violence Against Women Prevention Unit.
