Support to Groups

Springtide Resources works with organizations, communities and informal groups to help prevent gender based violence & bullying.

We work with you to:

  • build the capacity of your community to respond to violence against women
  • develop the language and content for talking about gender based violence within your specific context
  • deliver relevant educational workshops and trainings to your group

  • Curriculum development for Non-Profit Housing
  • Training and resource development for Elementary School Teachers of Ontario
  • Resource support and training for YWCA LinksToJobs Employers’ Network
  • Curriculum development and training on leadership and workshop facilitation for women with disabilities with the Scarborough Women’s Centre (Expanding the Reach Project – Phase II)
  • AODA Customer Service Training for the Assaulted Women’s Helpline, OAITH membership, Dufferin Child and Family Services, Ontario Association of Children Aid Societies (OACAS), and Nellie’s
  • Accessibility audits for the Elizabeth Fry Toronto, Interval House Hamilton, and Halton Family Services
  • Curriculum development and training on sexuality and violence agsinst women with disabilities for PACE Attendant Services and Tobias House Attendant Services
  • December 6 Memorial Working Group with the Central Neighbourhood House
