Settlement and Disability Round Table Discussion

OCASI-THE ONTARIO COUNCIL OF AGENCIES SERVING IMMIGRANTS

BOB RUMBALL CENTRE FOR THE DEAF, SILENT VOICE AND SPRINGTIDE RESOURCES  

Cordially invites service providers in the settlement and disability sectors and people with lived experience as immigrants and refugees with disabilities to a round table discussion. 

The objective of the round table is to provide the sectors with an opportunity to discuss the strengths and gaps that exist in serving immigrants and refugees (including newcomers) with disabilities and to develop strategies and opportunities for collaboration in order to effectively support immigrants and refugees with disabilities.

WHEN: Friday, February 26th 2016

TIME: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm 

WHERE: Bob Rumball Centre For The Deaf, 2395 Bayview Ave, North York, ON

Refreshments and lunch will be provided. 

The maximum number of participants is 28. Participation will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

We ask that no more than 2 participants register from any 1 agency.

Some registration spots are reserved for people with lived experience as immigrants/refugees with disabilities.
