FAMILY MATTERS: Free arts-based workshop series for LGBTTI2SAQQ* youth

Springtide Resources is announcing the return of our amazing Family Matters workshop series!

These are arts-based workshops for LGBTTI2SAQQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Intersex, Two-Spirit, Asexual, Queer, Questioning, in between and beyond!)  youth (16 and up) who have experienced harm, including homophobia and/or transphobia, in the context of their families.

We will use this space to share, heal from, and let go of past hurt, as well as explore, connect, and create the supported futures we imagine and deserve.

The workshops take place at Springtide Resources, 215 Spadina Ave, Suite 220, on Thursdays from 5:30-8:30pm. Our offices are wheelchair accessible and scent free.

Workshops are free. Tokens and meals provided.

The first six workshops (March 26th, April 2, April 9, April 16, April 23, April 30) are open / drop in! Just show up! But do email or call ahead with any dietary or accommodation needs. (We are working on providing ASL interpretation at as many workshops as possible - let us know if this is something you need!).

The last six workshops (May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11) are intensive / closed. In order to register for these, please attend a minimum of 3 of the drop in workshops.

Contact Ainsley at or 416 968 3422 ext 21 with any questions.
